Most of the employees are just warm bodies with a clock number. IF, very big if, you find someone to help you, they can't. I wish Home Depot would build here.

Hire employees that know about the product they are selling. Seems the lady in tools stands around looking at her phone and dorsnt kbkw where a drill is. When I use to work there every department had people that knew the products. What happened?
On a busy holiday (Labor Day) they had 2 registers open. That is about normal even on weekends. Waited over 15 mins to find assistance to get an item down from the over head storage shelf. As usual they don’t restock when something is empty. I wish they would build a Home Depot in Greenwood to give Lowe’s some competition, maybe then they would have better customer service.
The warranty service is a joke!! I bought a new LG washer and dryer set and the dryer is making a noise. This set was bought in March. I called the warranty service and gave them my information who then called back to set up a date for service when they informed me that the washer and dryer had to be unstack. So I informed them that I would call back after I checked with my husband so when I called back I was put on hold and then was told we don’t service in the Saluda county area!! As I said in my post on Facebook, we loaded 8 heavy 4x4 treated pine posts onto a cart while several employees walked by and looked the other way. Not one single employee offered to help load the posts. So two middle-aged people, including a woman, loaded these posts while Lowes employees totally ignored us. And it was obvious they were avoiding helping because they would actually look the other way when they approached us. We need a Home Depot in Greenwood apparently.
