Wow really who calls ANY child a effing retard??!! Autism or not you don't talk to children, or people for that matter like that. Good thing the adult with that child was able to stay calm and collected because this adult here would have lost her cool and went whoop ass crazy on that employee! I hope Lowe's has higher standards and this employee and manager lose their jobs! I'm glad this story is going viral, I just wish the employee's name was on full blast!!!
I was saddened to hear an assistant manager at your store called a child with autism a "retard". Not acceptable. What is even less acceptable is that your store did nothing when the father reported the incident. I expect action to be taken and the proper training for employees on how to talk to ALL customers to be put into place. Shame on you, Lowes.
I will never shop at Lowes again.... Most especially the grape rd Lowes. For anyone to call a special needs child the "R" word is an abomination, the fact that it was someone who is given a leadership role makes it more horrible. My son is mixed race... Will you now call him a "N" word? I am so shocked that you allowed this to happen. No one, most especially a child, should ever be called that name. I and my vast amount of friends will be boycotting your store.
One of your employees called a special needs child "a fucking retard". I will NEVER spend another dime at your fucking store again!! You shouldn't get 1 star for this!!!
