i will never shop at lowes again. i lost my receipt to what i had got and i couldnt return it cause apparently crack head steal shit and that makes it not possible for good citizens to return fucking shit they fucking bought. fuck lowes. homedepot is where i will forever go now.
Bought washer and dryer, top of the line LG brand. Dryer would not heat. Under warranty. Lowes came twice, but still did not fix the problem and refused to replace the unit. Was told to contact manufacturer. Lowes should have replaced the unit that was under warranty.
Didn't have what I like as a stock item. Your service needs work, can't find people wishing their departments.
Waited 3 weeks for an installer to measure for a storm door installation. Three phone calls to Glen Burnie Lowes later, an installer calls to tell me all about his personal problems with his ex and his past due bills. We decided to cancel and get our money back. When my husband called the installer to let him know we were cancelling he suddenly blamed the whole thing on Lowes and says they mishandled the installer request. Dear lowes 75% off original price is not 50% then an additional 25% off.
Just waited almost an hour for someone to do a few simple cuts in lumber - asked several people multiple times to call someone who could work the machine. No one ever came. Then while leaving without purchasing anything, the woman asked if anyone came back to help. When we said no, she just said sorry and we left. Off to Home Depot for hopefully better (or at least any) customer service...
I purchased a lawn mower 4 months ago from lowers. It worked fine. I went to cut the grass yesterday, and it just stopped working. I called the store close to my home (30 minutes) and they said I could exchange it for the same one due to not having a receipt. I drove there and then they said no. They could send it out but that could take 4-5 weeks and they couldn't even tell me the cost. I waisted $150 on this mower. This is not good business. Any lan mower should last longer then 4 months.
I bought a Sylvania LED bulb for about $20.00. It worked for about two weeks and stopped. I called Sylvania and they were very nice and helpful. They sent me a check for $20.00 made out to the store for the purchase of any Sylvania lighting products. Lowes refused to accept the check. They called it a three party check.
