I went to Lowes in Newport News on Memorial Day weekend to buy about $200 of cedar lumber that I needed for rebuilding my front porch. About an instant after my purchase was complete I remembered that using my veteran's discount would have saved me about about $20. So I asked the checkout clerk if she could redo the transaction and apply my discount. She told me that she couldn't do that but she wouldn't give me a reason why. Today my husband and children had to make a trip to Lowe's for supplies to improve our front yard. Unfortunately, our dog was ill this morning and our child insisted her dog accompany them on the trip to the garden center. My husband was delighted that the associates helped him with his purchase and offered aid when the dog became ill in the garden center. A young man offered my husband a cup of water for the puppy. They were able to pick up the mulch we needed and return home quickly.

I bought a washer and dryer set and a grill. all were supposed to be delivered today. however that is not happening now. I had to call to find out about my delivery. the date was changed without any notification to me what so ever! then when I asked about why I was not informed I get told I don't know, and to top it all off I get told my new delivery date will be next week, and if I don't hear nothing after 9 p.m. to call them and ask about the delivery no problem there lies that you guys close at 9 and I won't be able to ca... read more

I went in on Friday, paid for what I ordered ( a hot water heater) scheduled to pick up Saturday morning. Waited for over 2 hours just for a pick up. I think 🤔 they need to hire more people. 2 ⭐️ ⭐️
