I tried to call to find out if they were opened on July 4, Wednesday. Phone rang and rang. Automatic answering answered with a menu, I dialed every extension they offered at different times. Pressed 0 for operator 3 times and no one ever answered!!! Every time it would say it was going to that dept. then no one would answer so it would reverse back to answering menu again. I purchased a Samsung Activewash washing machine. The water level will never come up to the top of my laundry load. Clothes come out still stained and filthy. Contacted Samsung. Samsung sent repairman who said that this was the way the washing machine was supposed to work and that I must be operating it incorrectly. My clothes come out filthy. Requested money back or exchange. Denied. Please DO NOT purchase this washing machine.
I will never again order cabinets from Lowe’s. I ordered a simple 3x6 ft counter top & 1 cabinet base for a kitchen island on March 26th. Cabinet came in & we were told it was perfect. Opted to wait until the top came also so we only had to do one pick up. Top came in at the end of April & we were told that it was cut completely wrong by manufacturer. I just had the most awful experience at a home improvement store that I have ever had. My "Home Improvememt Store Experience" has been declining rapidly but today at the Lowes in Sumter SC definitely takes the cake. If anyone at Lowes would like to hear about it, feel free to reach out to me.
Under staffed, impossible to find a materials cart, clueless homeowners constantly clogging contractor parking, internet orders are never ready when promised and like a new thing every time.
It has what you need most of the time. No Home Depot in Sumter to compare it with.
Ok so I picked up a few plumbing supplies and bug spray get to the register and the young woman says that I can't get my military discount because I'm not registered so I leave and purchase what I need from Wallys hardware where they are very helpful and I get my military discount because I'm showing her a valid V.A i.d. I break down and register online for military discount at Lowe's and they tell me that I have to go to the store and verify my military status by showing the card I showed them earlier that they said I could... read more
Terrible. Yes the weather was bad however... Delivery told us it was still going to be here. It has been three days and still nothing. Instead of telling us they won't be here they lie and make excuses. This morning at 7:30 they called and said they were on there way. Still nothing and its 1:00. Another day wasted. Shamfull. Lie to customers because you can't run a business. We paid in full and want what we paid for.
