I normally love spending money at Lowe's but in this particular case I bought a gift card for Autozone for my Dad for Dad's Day and here it was a recalled gift card that obviously should have pulled off the shelf but wasn't. So they don't give exchanges or money back for activated gift cards and apparently it takes so far in counting 2 freaking weeks to get to speak to someone from Autozone who has the authority to replace a dam recalled gift card. Will never buy another gift card from Lowe's or any other retailer.
Purchased a Masterbuilt 800-Watt electric smoker today to use on the 4th. Got it home and opened the box to find the unit was some how crushed on the inside. The box was in perfect condition and no visible damage to the outside of the smoker but once I opened it I see the racks and the chip box are literally bowed and crushed. Looks like my July 4th plans just went up in smoke!! #upsetcustomer
I went to the Hagersstown MD store today to pick up a small shed, which I had ordered on yesterday.... The only thing that went correct was placing my order.... After waiting 15 minutes to let employee know why I was there and find out where I needed to go to pick up order. Then there was another 15 minute wait only to go back in store and have the employee tell me they had looked for me and could not find me... Two young men then loaded it into my car and told me 3 times they could not tie my back door down... They just lef... read more
Bought a fridge and stove on Black Friday on November 27 still waiting on December 10. Fridge was damaged on first delivery. Stove will be another 4-7 days and if you buy that I'll throw the golden gate in free.
Had a really pleasant visit here today! Had trouble finding a certain light fixture and one of the employees was so happy to help me out and get me exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Tried to order a play set to no luck. Three associates and thirty minutes later we were no closer to a swing set than when we walked in the door. We went to Home Depot and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They made the process so easy. Lowes ASM said he has now send an email out to him employees explaining hiow to order the play sets for those coming in to the store now. Did little for us but think we need up with a better swing set for a lower price and are very pleased with home depot's custome service.
