I have shopped at this store for years. Tonight, 7/20/18 I went to check out and asked for my Military discount, which I have every time I shop there. The cashier ask for my phone number and it didn't register in their system three different times. She then proceeded to tell me I wasn't eligible for a Military discount. Worst customer service in Southaven. Employees walking around knocking stuff off shelves and refuse to help a customer because" I don't work in this department".
I can not get anyone in any department whatsoever to answer the phone. No exaggeration, we have been calling for over a week, multiple times a day, at different times of the day, to try and get clarification/an answer about a store pick up order. I cannot take the time to go in at the moment because we are packing up our current house. I will be remodeling a new home soon and am very tempted to take my business to Home Depot if I can’t get an answer to simple questions without having to drive all the way down. Found the outdoor product I needed, but my cashier had a nasty attitude. Guess the outdoor heat was getting to her.
Rude disrespectful ignorant people that have no idea how to do their jobs
I actually have never written a bad review. I've worked customer service jobs and know the challenges. However after a 3rd negative experience, here we are. The customer service & check out team members at this store are awful... AWFUL!! There is no "hello", "did you find what you were looking for", not even a "thank you" after paying. There is no conversation whatsoever, just short answers or grunts as if you are completely putting them out just by being there. The customer service desk has been staffed by the least friendly people you could imagine the last three times I have had to deal with them. Someone needs to let them know it’s ok to say hello, good morning, or something to the customer. And it might be a good idea to have more than three people trying to run the front on a Friday night in the spring.
