Today (Fort Oglethorpe location) I had a scheduled appointment for floor measurements. I called earlier to confirm the time which was from 1-5pm which is all day! I stayed at home today from work and no one ever showed up! I missed a day of working and I was glued to the house for NOTHING even after calling to confirm the time!!! UGH 😡!!!!! I was going to spend A LOT of money with them, reflooring my entire house.... this was my first and last experience with them... back to Home Depot I go!

BUYER BEWARE!! If you buy applicances from this store (or any Lowes in the Chattanooga area), it will NOT be delivered by Lowes but rather a THIRD PARTY contractor. Lowes contracts with Serpro Logistics (a second party contractor and that is a story in itself), and Serpro contracts with a third party delivery service. We are still dealing with the aftermath of an incident that occurred on Father’s Day 2018. Gate entry to our property was totally destroyed by the third party contractor. I like Lowes but I have to say. A couple weeks ago I went to Lowes first to check on getting a new heating air condition unit intalled. They were advertising ut. Yhe girl at the counter wrote my name and number but didn't really help me. I had a feeling nobody would call me so I went to Home Depot where they at least put my name in the system and they were calling me before I even got home, had someone at my house doing an estimate the next day and I had my nee unit installed within the week. We have always loved Lowe's but BEWARE....if you pay the extra $50 to have sheetrock delivered to your house, they literally mean TO your house. Regardless of pending rain. If you want it delivered IN your house, there is an additional charge per sheet. They kinda don't tell you that part up front. Delivery man says, oh I am only one person, I can't get that in your house....but the two 70 something retirees are supposed to be able to do it. Geez!

I will NEVER deal with this Lowe's store again!! On Friday, March 16th, 2018, My husband and I went in to purchase a lawn mower. When we reached the mowers, the person behind the counter was taking care of another customer. So, we looked around at the John Deere mowers and decided which one we wanted. The person behind the counter had walked off, presumably to help someone else. We waited 5 minutes or so and he had not returned. So, we pushed the button to "page" someon...Continue Reading
