Friendly, caring, family orientated home for mother who can no longer cope at home. Nothing is to much trouble and it is making our lives so much easier again.On V.E. day mum said she had had a lovely sing along to Vera Lynn in the morning (with other entertainers) .When we arrived with Daisy and molly Mum was on her way downstairs with other residents to participate in a quizz. The lodge staff arranged a VE Day celebration which involved a group of actors putting on a show about the 2nd world war. The show lasted nearly an hour and it was truly wonderful to see my mum and other residents singing and waving Union Jack flags to old war time songs. Most of the staff were also dressed in war time costumes. It was joyful to see so many residents enjoying themselves and it’s a credit to the Lodge staff for taking the time to plan and arrange the wonderful entertainment. A big thank you!
