I left this review in 2019 initially; 6 yrs later and worse service ! Now 2025, THINGS HAVE GOTTEN WORSE ; DEADLY ;(if you can believe that) … it is very difficult to consult with a DOCTOR; fobbed off with USA “Practice Associate” or less - Not a Doctor- Google it. Any Doctors still attend? Aug Patches change not met; end of Sept and chaos reigns as of 17/ Sep LOCUMS only. Any Doctors present? I had not used Patchs before. Today, I was able to log on, answer the questions re my ailment, and then get a reply from a GP within about 10 mins, saying that a prescription had been sent to the pharmacy. Very smooth process.
I have been totally supported by the doctors at Longfield over a very worrying 4 months. Getting appointments is often frustrating, but the wait is not as long as other surgeries.
The worst GP surgery ever and the patch's system they use makes it even worse
They only accept new appointments on the day, you can't book anything in advance. Illogical way to run a practice resulting in poor patient experience (having to call 87 times to get through and then a 40+ minute telephone queue) and creating more work for the staff.
