Love These Guys I have been taking my cats and a dog there since my neighbor told me about Dr. Havas a few years back. I love these people. I cannot even imagine why someone would care about the decor of the place. What a bunch of idiots that complained about that in their review. There is a vet on 14 Mile between Ryan & Dequindre - the office is GEOURGEOUS - his fees are double Dr. Havas, but you should go there. My guys Ben, Bud, Milo & Ollie are very happy with the wonderful care they get too!
No problems with this animal hospital I have brought my greyhound dog here several times over the past years and every time I am treated kindly and the staff has always been very kind to me and to my dog. If you are looking for a fancy up to date clinic, then this is not the place, I don't care if it's outdated, so long as the doctor is current which he is, I don't need to pay more money just to have a pretty clinic to look at. The prices are very reasonable and my pet is treated very well and that is what is important.
Great vet We've had very good experiences at this vet. They have our baby as we speak and are removing a tumor. They're always very straight forward about what the problem is and VERY inexpensive. We would definitely refer our friends here. Yes, you have to wait a long time. Bring a snack for u both. :)
Great Place! My husband was referred to Long Lake Animal Hosipital by a co-worker. It's definitely not fancy (and there is almost always a wait), but they do a great job and you can't beat the prices. I would never compromise my dog's health just for cheap rates, but this place is great! We have never had a problem.

I have my first appt with Dr. H on Fri the 26th of March and after reading the reviews and talking to my neighbor who recommended this Vet, I'm looking forward to my visit with my Beagle/Basset mix "Rocky". It sounds like the place to go if you want a good Vet that cares more about your animal then the money. We have two dogs and we have paid out more money to Vets then we should have had to. Long Lake Animal Hospital is the BEST!!!! This place is the BEST!!! I had my jack russell terrier spayed here. She chewedher stictches out on a Saturday afternoon. I had to take her to another vet to have them repaired. They wanted to charge me 355.00 for a repair on stitches!!!!! Way more than I payed for the original operation. After telling them I could not afford it, the reduced it to 171.00. Which I payed because I didn't have a choice. The gave me a cone (for 10.00 of course) and sent me home. 30 Years of going there - Dr. Havas is very sincere with your pets!!! Love this place. I wouldn't go any where else. Yes you do have to wait a bit, but knowing that the doctor is there for your pet's health, that is all that matters. When I had to put my eldest cat down - Dr. Havas was the person that looked my kitty over and tell me that it was time. Once thing that I saw was the compassion in Dr. Havas eyes and face. For me...no other Vet office could or would have done that. They more or less care about the $$$ signs.
Great Vet At A Great Price I have been bringing my pets to this office for 20 years. I have always had good care and that's whats important. I don't care about the decor. I appreciate the doctor holding down rates. If you want decor go some place else. I need good quality care at a reasonable price.
Long Lake Animal Hospital is not so great! I honestly really didn't like how i had to wait 45 mins after my appt. to be seen. Others did not have control of their animals. The floor was messy and it wasn't very clean. The staff took forever at the front desk and the clark was rude.
