Are you kiding me?? The people who are writing bad reviews about Dr. Havas? Myself and my whole family and friends have been going to Dr. Havas for over 23 years and we dont mind the wait and sittinging the waiting room for a long time. Dr Havas deserves to be nominated for sainthood! I've been taking my animals to Dr. Havas since I was in the 5th grade. I'm now 51. I won't go anywhere else. Dr. Havas is always sure of himself and takes the utmost care of his patients and owners. My dog had a siezures at 3 a.m. Christmas morning. When I called Dr. Havas, he calmed me down, told me what todo and had me meet him at the office Christmas day as soon as all three of us got maybe a few hours of sleep. great prices and care, but LONG waits I've been happy with Long Lake Animal hospital.. we take our two large breed dogs there. One of our dogs had a growth on her leg and I took her in. They took her the same day even though they were completely booked. I waited 1 1/2 hours. It was a bit stressful to wait so long, but I was only charged $34 for antibiotics and the visit. I scheduled her for surgery and my husband was able to get all the paperwork for me to fill out at home so when I went back with my toddler to drop her off ... read more
Dr. Havas and Staff - Best Vet Group in the World Dr. Havas is certainly in the right business. He treats your pets like his own children. The staff he has are so kind and understanding about what ever your pet's situation might be; just like at the Pediatrician??s office. If your pet is ill, they will do their best to have them seen on the same day. I've seen him stay there until 9 at night and he started at 8:30in the morning. No problems I in the past have taken my dog and my cat to be neutered/spayed and my cat front laser declawed by Long Lake and have also had some shots done there. I have never had any problems with this place and also never had any problems getting prices for anything I needed a price for. I also a couple of years ago needed to put my male dog to sleep due to untreatable medical conditions that made him suffer. Give them a break I started taking my pets here due to a friend I work with, she had recommended Long Lake Animal Hospital. I have just read through the reviews and I have to say I just don't understand all these nasty comments, sure the office is older but who cares, what would you rather have a healthy pet or an elegant office? pet owner I have been going to Long Lake Animal Hospital for at least 5 or 6 years and the Dr. there works very long hours to take care of all the pets he sees and cares for all the animals like there are his own and I would not take my pet any where else because when I leave this place I know my pet was well taken care of and the other places you go the prices are very high and he makes it to where you can afford to have your pet taken care of because he wants people too take care of there pets and he makes it affordable fo... read more
To all those Nasty move out of my way type people It's a shame that people feel once they walk into a place everyone has to bow down to them. You can tell who these people are by their nasty comments. If you want to be waited on hand and foot then go to another vet that charges you for all those extras. Here at Dr. Havas vet, he charges you way less then half of what other vets do and is more caring to my pets then me, but hey, if I wanted more attention I would be going to a MD not a vet.
