Doctor Essa is the most rude doctor I have ever seen, he is unprofessional, keeps raising his voice, gets angry if you don't understand him. The receptionists should be trained better as they even don't know how a referral from 111 works.
The level of service at this surgery is consistently poor, starting with the reception staff and extending to the GPs. There is a noticeable lack of empathy and care for patients, especially during times of crisis when support is most needed. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling neglected and unsupported. It's deeply concerning that a healthcare facility can operate with such disregard for patient wellbeing. Serious improvements are needed, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously.
I have had quite a bit of experience with this surgery since I moved to the area around 2013. I met Dr. Essa around that time and was pleased that I had a surgery just around the corner from my flat. If I could give this surgery zero stars, I would. It is an absolute disgrace. We have been desperately trying to book an urgent appointment for my mum, but instead of helping, they just push us to book online—something she doesn’t know how to do, and neither do I. Calling is just as useless—no one answers, no matter how many times we try. If you work in healthcare but have no regard for patients, you shouldn’t be in the profession. If I could go lower on the start rating it would be fantastic. I injured my knee this morning and their first recommendation was to go to a pharmacy. Obviously, since I trusted them, I went there and they were puzzled on why I was sent over to a pharmacy if my knee cracked. Called them back and they had no answer. The receptionist I called in the afternoon was at least friendly and apologised. But the first one I feel like she shouldn't be working there.
