Absolutely shocking and appalling service. Tried for 3hrs to get through voice message said every time phone lines busy. Tried to use the website not fit for purpose. Still struggling with the same problem🤬
The staff are great. But you can never get through on the phone to actually see or speak to any of the staff. This problem has been going on for so long, I'm surprised nothing has been done to resolve it yet. Such as getting in a couple more staff members to help with the phones. People do still have medical issues other than covid. But it feels like these have to take a back seat for the foreseeable future.
Misdiagnosed me with a lymphatic issue a few years ago instead of acute thyroiditis which got so bad I landed in A&E less than a week later after a resting heart rate of 120 bpm and almost collapsing, followed by hypothyroidism for a year and now discovering my levels are low again so may have to go back on meds for that, possibly for life. A differential diagnosis should have been done and blood tests. I've since learnt my symptoms were classic signs of thyroiditis.
We have had very good service there, especially recently.
