A great academic institution & beautiful campus.
Always takes great care of me
I am very disappointed in the way they handled my father after he had a stroke. They assured me my father was stable enough to move to a rehabilitation center; however, it died right after he got to the Center, which was 15 minutes away. Now we can't get a doctor to sign his death certificate and it's been 11 days since he passed. They gave us a number for the attending doctor, the number just rings and nobody answers. This has caused my family a great deal of stress. We want closure!
They keep me alive and do a very good job of it.
I am very disappointed in the disorganization and patient service in the trauma ward. I am visiting my father who was in a horrible accident with multiple fractures. Since I have arrived here, everyone medical professional who has come in to the room as told us very different stories on procedure needs and when procedures will happen. My father has been told that he will be going into surgery shortly for 2 days now which has led to no food or water for my father for 2 days and he is starving. Everyone raved about this hospital .. Was the WORST experience I ever had .. Was there over 12 hours in the ER .. Not once was offered food or water ..Other patients yelling they have been there for hours no bed changes, food, drinks .. NEVER SAW A CLEANG CREW in the ER .. Ended coming back the next day due to allergic reaction to medication given the night before .. And no one could tell me what they had given me .. Ended up being admitted .. Was never offered a toothbrush or towels for a shower ..was given a blood thinner ... read more
The emergency room can't prioritize patients. Who would you see first ?a patient with acute loss of vision, or a two week old spider bite? You got it the two week old spider bite. So when you suddenly go blind it really dosent matter...learn to triage your patients!!!!
