Great bbq a hip place to eat...got the 2 meat 1/4 rack ribs and brisket...sweet potato mash and green beens....first the free pickles are yum....i didnt find them to be spicy but i also eat alot of spicy food...ribs soft and tender...brisket was good tried their different sauses...sweet potato mash delicious green beens fresh and crispy

We just had our wedding at Lockhart's 8/26/17 and we have recieved nothing but compliments on the food and service. We rented out the entire restaurant and they were so accommodating and attentive to our needs. Everything ran like clockwork. I'm pretty sure had the best wedding EVER and a lot of that had to do with Lockhart's. We have been there for brunch and dinner several times before with friends and they all rave about the food. Best BBQ I have ever had !!!!! Ribs/pulled pork, brisket & great BBQ sauce. Try one of the Bloody Mary's also !!!!!!
The food at this place used to be delicious. This time I ordered a salad with BBQ Chicken on it and the chicken was disgusting. It was cubed and spongy.... precooked from a Gordon Foods store at best. A few people in my party got the same salad ran no one ate it. Other people at the table didn't like their food either, but no one would say anything bc the waitress was so rude. We had a party of 15 and everyone had the same thoughts as me!

BEST BBQ I've had in a while..great service, food was tender, perfect amount of smoke, ery unique side diahes, and the pecan pie was to die for. Highly recommended if in the Royal Oak area and in the mood for bbq. The topper, great selection of craft beer choices, of course it favored a lot of west michigan beers afterall West Michigan is the home of Beer City USA. Again the service was impeccable.
Delicious foods cooked to perfection - and the wait was minimal! Great experience for my first time there. 👍🏼👍🏼
