Named after the barbecue capital of Texas, Lockhart's BBQ serves up what they call "Detroit-style" barbecue, pulling their favorite aspects of all the different great BBQ regions and combining them into one. The menu has all your BBQ favorites like ribs, smoked beef brisket, pulled pork, smoked sausage and ham and more. We had a waitress named Nikki she had only worked there about 2weeks, what a wonderful person she was, not saying all are not wonderful at Lockharts.
The burnt ends are fantastic! Our server, Rachel, was very friendly and helpful even as the restaurant was very busy.
Amazing Amazing food. Atmosphere was perfect. Get there early. When we left, about 6:20p, there was a wait and the place was packed.

Ordered the two meat dinner (brisket & ribs) for a carry out dinner. The ribs were the worst I've ever had. Tough, fatty and full of grizzle. Very disappointed. The brisket was ok. Not as tender as it should be however. I'm afraid Lockhart's is just becoming a chain BBQ in TD quality.

Food was amazing and top notch service. Best BBQ we have found in the area. Fried tamales are a must.
