Did a VA loan and everything started smoothly but when the closing date neared it started going downhill and my first time home buying experience wasn't as enjoyable. About a week from closing the loan officer informed me that after thinking she was done they needed more information which ended up delaying the closing that caused a domino affect of hardship for us. Went through the entire process and was then offered a higher interest rate AFTER pulling my credit (hard pull).
Got a great rate, excellent customer service and received everything I wanted when I got to settlement. And they also always beat the competition which is nice to help my refund.

The loan representative was not considerate of the time he spent talking about the loan process after initially qualifying us for the loan. He filled our heads with a lot of what ifs, or just in case information and keep rambling until with each communication we had to initiate the end of the call.

I received excellent service and rapid processing of issues and documents for our mortgage refinance. Interaction from the staff was always very courteous and patient. They made us feel at ease, and explained the process fully through each stage. This is the second refinance with Loan Depot in less than a year!
