Part of Breacon Way. Old ruines and a little cafe. Free parking and no reception on mobile phones.
A fantastic bunk house. We stayed here as, a group of adults who do hiking together. Great location to a range of mountain walks. Really nice pub, just down the road. The bunk house had everything we needed, log fire, good social space for dinning, well equipped kitchen. Rooms were clean and hot showers. A really lovely weekend.
This wonderfully rustic, basic but well equipped bunk house is the perfect retreat for so many reasons. However the surrounding priory settings typify its most unexpected gift. No TV, no WI-FI, phone or internet ( please ensure that never changes) but you will not find a better connection with everything else that is here for you. The first wave of warmth from the wood burner after a freezing day on the hill is something you cannot put a price on. I look forward to returning.
