Absolutely shocking experience. Was quoted online with a good price from we buy any car. Went along (knowing the price would drop). It did, by approx £1000...despite being told the car was perfect (no dents, scrapes or kerbed alloys). However I wanted to keep my private plate so i had to go home and re-register the car. My visit was a waste of time.Evaluation was given to me for my car £18160 online and on day of sale price given was £7891 which is not even half.Car has done only 1880 miles almost brand new.Such a waste of time to book appointments and take off from work.Although before going i did mention that this is an important car they said slight difference will be there in price but more than 50% difference is unacceptable to anyone.
I had my car valued at your Livingston branch. When I arrived I asked your representative about parking and he assured me that I do not need to pay for parking and that as your customer I will not be charged a penalty. After I was offered £50 quote for a car worth >£1000, which in itself is a disgrace (the online valuation was £800), to which of course no sane person would say yes because I can scrap it for £500, I left. Guy that worked there was professional and nice but... Online valuation was 7k After doing a Mot that passed, in person valuation dropped to 6k without specific reason.
