I purchased a reclining sofa and loveseat 5 years ago and sales associate offered care free plan which covers damages up to 5 years and if I don't submit a claim during 5 year period they would refund care fee I'd paid initially. I've contacted local Living Spaces store after 5 years and never submitted a claim. Now they are telling me they can only issue a store credit and I can not get a refund. I'd consider this is false advertisement.
I will never again buy from this company. Bought a couch a little over a year ago, bought the extended warranty, issue (recliner just stopped working altogether) came just over a year so used the extended warranty. Have been fighting with them for over 4 months to have it replaced. I have to talk with someone at the warranty company each time I call that is clueless. I have purchased a total of 3 couches from Living Spaces. The last purchase of a sectional has been thus far the worst. I have been unable to utilize the purchased protection plan warranty (customer service has been poor at best) and the couch (that is less than two years old) looks as though it was purchased for a frat house. The cushions have lost all shape, the pillows are beyond frayed and there is no way to fluff this sectional up. I ordered the stratus end table and coffee table on 6/3. The end table was to be in the store ready for pick up 6/13 and the coffee table was to be in the store for pick up 7/18. I bought a couch and bedroom set. I have bought 5 couches from them over the first 4 were great. My recent couch was delivered on time and friendly. Do to my work schedule and having recently moving into a new place I did not sit on the couch for the first week. It looked great. Living Spaces is trying to charge me for delivery errors that they made. We place many orders with this vendor online. This particular order was placed online and we received our confirmation with the correct data that was entered. The Delivery team transcribe the information incorrectly on their end. They tried to deliver a power recliner to a client that already received their order a week before.
