We were offered a rental which didn't have a satisfactory damp course installed. We only found this out after living in the house for a year and we were all coughing all the time. Littlefairs were only concerned about the landlords rights didn't even offer us any type of suitable accommodation to get the work done. In my view a certification of damp works should always be kept to confirm a house is suitable for a family to live in.
