Avoid renting with Linley and Simpson. Has leaking windows, windows that don't close, mould and damp for over a year and now no boiler. Everytine you chase them it's always "speaking to contractors" and then they won't let you exit the contract. Initially heard good things but will say highly avoid using them

I've recently completed on a sale via Linley & Simpson (L&S) and had a very good experience. Michael Davies managed our sale from start to finish and I was extremely impressed. After contacting several competitors including L&S, it was Michael's attention to detail and overall approach that led to me choosing them. Estate agents get a bad rep and having had to work with Linley and Simpson it's easy to see why. Vendor of house we bought used them so we were forced to work with them. While things significantly improved when the individual we were working with changed, their overall level of services was awful. I tried complaining but of course they shut up shop and told me I could go to the Ombudsman. It seems it's mainly landlords selling their properties that use this firm. I would encourage people to look elsewhere.

Michael's experience and knowledge were helpful throughout the process of buying my first home. With several properties in the onward chain there were some unexpected hiccups but he handled everything very competently.
