We had a great lunch, cool with rain on the roof...just great.
You've gotta know where it is or have a GPS to find Linger Lodge! It's behind an upscale housing development, but it's a step back in time to the 1940's camping lodges with an old fashioned restaurant attached! Food is on the funky side with a lot of alligator on the menu plus all the American and seafood entree's you would want. Moderately priced with an excellent wait staff and full bar. Our GWRRA motorcycle group make this a semi annual stop on our weekly rides!
The service was great. The waiter made very good recommendations. The saute sole stuffed with crab and scallops my husband loved. I had the alligator dinner, was a little disappointed that it was only gator bites, but they were tender and delicious. Of course we take visitors there. It is a place you have to see to experience.
I was in that party on over 40 and I could not agree more. The food was awesome and the staff where amazing.
Food and service are the best. I bought an alligator salt and pepper holder and his arm is broken � very sad.

Live music, home cooking on the river, old Florida style.
Food was good, but the prices are on the high side. You pay for the off-beat atmosphere.
I enjoyed the coconut shrimp. Sulfer water, yuk...only Pepsi products BOO...enjoyed looking at everything. Would probably order fish of I took someone and bring my own Coke..or water.
