We go there a couple times a year and always try to take visitors. Ok, it's not for everyone. Your dining in a rustic setting, among stuffed animals. The food is good though you are not getting stacked fancy food and fancy sauces. If I recall, they even have a gluten free menu. The staff is personable and the service is fine. If you're looking for a five star big city dining experience, go someplace else. If you want old Florida fun come here!! ����
I've been going to this place since 1991 & have made it a "must stop" every year. Like every restaurant I've ever been to, there are things I haven't liked but, overall the food is usually good & the location is great. There are alot of places I've written off over the years do to how the area has grown but the Linger Lodge is definitely not one of them.
What a unique place to eat! We sat on the porch outside and enjoyed the view. They had quite an extensive gluten free menu which was great for me as a Celiac. Food and service were good. We enjoyed looking at all the stuffed animals!
We were there tonight for dinner. Jackie was our waitress. She did an awesome job. The food was really yummy as always. I had the catfish and my hubby had the chicken fried steak. And of course we had the fried green tomatoes �. It was also karaoke � night! So much fun! Jim B was amazing �. His voice was amazing. God bless him and his family! The Linger Lodge has been a favorite place since we moved here from NY 4 years ago. We bring everyone we know here. The view of the river is spectacular.
Just an awesome place. Every time we go to Linger Lodge it is like entering a "different" world. Sitting on the porch is so tropical and beautiful! The food is very good. Had the blackened catfish and collard greens which were excellent.
Food was good .. very different and very entertaining menu � very remote , hidden location
We had a great dinner with large portions...Great catfish!!Our waiter was very attentive, pretty neat place and our WV family remembered a waitress from WV that worked there that they met on their last visit there
I enjoyed the atmosphere and a cool place, our server was nice and took care of us nicely. Gumbo was great and food was good a good portions. I will go back�����
The food was great and we loved the ambiance, eating on the back porch area. Very interesting taxidermy displays. We are already planning a return visit. Service was great too for lunch when we were there.
