I always loved the style and feel of my old Gibson Victory MVX, but the master-of-all pickup configuration fell flat. With some under wound P-90's (5% under in neck, 15% under bridge) it sounds like it always should have! Thanks!
I was a bit worried replacing the P-90s in my 330, but I was tired of the buzz. I got the hum cancelling P90s and they sound fantastic. In fact they have a more acoustic sound than the originals. Well done!
I have a Fralins in both my strat and my tele. In the strat, I have set of stock vintage hots with a base plate on the bridge. In the tele, I have a pair if hybrids, 5% overwound in the bridge and 2.5% overwound in the neck. Both sound amazing, and in my opinion, beat out any others on the market. The Tele bridge pickup is my favorite bridge pickup ever. I've even thought about putting one in my strat. I recommend these pickups to anyone and everyone. If you want great tone, these are the pickups for you.
Totally smitten with Fralins in general. Just put p90 (humbucker covers) in my fender showmaster. Said goddam, thats what Im talking about! Thing about the Fralins is they are touch sensitive...lots of range just by articulating your right hand.(pick hand)
