In the early 1990's Guitar Player magazine had an issue about pickups. That is where I first discovered Lindy Fralin. I bought a set of Vintage 1954 Strat pickups. I still have them, even though they have lived in 6 different Strats. More recently I bought my first set of P-92's which are unbelievably great. Thanks for building such great pickups, and answering your own phone!
Just put a set of Fralin Stock (Broadcaster style) Tele pups in my '52 AVRI, replacing a set of Bardens, which replaced the Original Vintage pickups it came with. The Fralins are the BEST tele pickups I've ever played. Period. They, combined with my vintage '65 Bandmaster = my idea of perfect tone.
Love the Blues and High Output Split Blades for my Strat. Hum bucking (still a little noise but not much), warm sounding and I picked a bunch of sustain. Replacements for my stock strat pickups. Lindy took the time to speak with me a couple of times to pick out the best combination of pickups. Great product and great service. Thanx Lindy!
