Best tele pickups ever! I have a bag of boutique tele pups and these are the ones that stay in!
I have Lindy Fralin pickups in a strat and a tele. Amazing sounds great pickups!
I have a Les Paul Studio that came equipped with Burstbucker Pros and was unhappy with the lack of clarity and mud, especially in the lower frequencies. I installed a set of pure PAFs and problem solved. Very articulate and even response across the board now with beautifully warm and harmonic overtones. Much lower output than my old pickups with really improved dynamics and a touch sensitivity that is a now a truly rewarding experience!
I had 2 of the P-92 pickups in my new Moriah GuitarWorks Zadok (custom built by John Mark Hampton). They sounded great, but I wanted a little more bite, so I got a Pure PAF humbucker from Lindy and put it in the bridge position. Changed the whole tonal spectrum of my guitar and gives me bite like I wanted, while keeping the clean bridge tone that I loved from the P-92.
the Fralin PU's on my NASH t-52 are EVERYTHING I could imagine them to be!!
Lindy rewired the pups on my 68 Tele years back.....still sounding and going strong. I also have one of His Steel Pole pups on an old Esquire.......why would anyone look anywhere else for pick-ups?
Exactly what I needed to get the gain, clarity and sustain I was looking to bring to this Fender Mustang.
I own several Fender basses (J-basses, P-basses and a '51 Japan P-bass). For all of them I chose Lindy Fralin Pickups because of their incredible aesthetic and balanced sound. Those are definitely my first choice in PUs!
