I’ve known for a while that they make great Strat pickups, but Tele pickups too? Wow! Gotta get a set of humbuckers too.
For Christmas I got a set of Fralin Jazz pickups to go on my 2015 American Deluxe 4-string. I’ve never been one to tinker with the guts of an instrument. However, I am blown away with the sound of these pickups! The tone is truly what I was looking for in a jazz bass. This includes a thick, chunky slap, beautiful, crisp bridge “Jaco” style, and clean, deep, warm, bass tone that is not muddy at all! I’m amazed!
Put the Blues-wind Split-blade in the neck and can't put it down. I've tried just about every noiseless Strat pickup that's come along - they all came up short until this one!! All the quintessential Strat personality, dynamics to spare, totally quiet - outta the park!!
I have Fralin Pickups in most of my guitars. There is no one more knowledgeable than Lindy, and he is always accessible to help guide me through the process of selecting the right pickups and outputs for the sound I'm looking for. Wonderful pickups, great customer service, I'm a customer for life!
Wow! Got my hum cancelling pickup installed in my LP JR and it sounds amazing!!! Has all the tone of a P90 just a smidge brighter but in a good way. The dogear cover was about 1/16” higher than the stock so I had to sand it down a little. I’ll be ordering another soon!
I wanted to improve my improve the tone on my 56 strata CS, which already sounded fine. I called lindy fralin with a couple of questions and they walked me through the options and four days later my new loaded blues pickguard arrived. Put it in and what a difference! Blender pot is slick, and the sound is thicker than four day old pudding! I couldn't be happier thanks Bill
Had a tech rip the guts from a new Mexican Tele and put all new pots, wiring plus some Lindy Frailin pickups. No one can believe its a Mexican Tele due to the output. I absolutely love playing it.
I now have three sets of the Vintage Hot Strat pickups so it’s safe to say I really like these pickups. Just sound better than any other Strat pickups I’ve heard.
The best you can get ! I will go to Lindy Fralin for pickups for my future builds !
