Dr. Ackerman listens to your concerns. She takes your health seriously and always makes sure you understand her diagnosis. Also, she makes sure there is a plan laid out for future visits.
She immediately puts you at ease during your visit with her. Very personable.

I was sick with (I am still not sure what it actually was) some sort of skin issue and in the hospital when I met Dr Ackerman. Her devotion to getting me well and back to a normal state was truly above and beyond what I expected. I have been seeing her for over a year now and she has done everything to find a treatment that works, so far we have and I am feeling great. Thank you Dr Ackerman and your team, especially Clare.
Dr. Ackerman has been able to address a rare cancerous condition that my husband has sought help for from many medical professionals for over 4 months. Incredibly thorough and took great deal of time helping us understand every piece of the puzzle. We are so grateful for her and the knowledge she has that many others did not. Great staff. We are finally in the right hands.
Along with her partner, Dr. Margaret Kessler, whom I usually see, Dr. Ackerman is friendly, professional and takes your problems seriously. I was worried about wasting her time, because a bump on my nose went away soon before my appointment. She reassured me that it would be no problem to check and then actually found a precancerous area, which she treated.
She takes the time with each of her patients, you feel like you’re the only one.
