Dr. Ackerman has been my dermatologist for many years. I am almost 70, fair skinned, and was sunburned several times a year as a child and teen. Two years ago she identified early stage melanoma and basal cell carcinoma. Her treatment was successful. I am very particular about the doctors I see and Dr. Ackerman has been excellent in all of my care. She listens, gives great advice, and makes instructions clear. She is the very best!!
I am a longtime patient of Dr. Ackerman and she is always very attentive during appointments and has an impressive depth of knowledge in her field. I am always confident in referring her to friends and family.
As a physician, I can say without doubt that Dr. Ackerman is one of the smartest, most thorough, best physicians out there. Any patient of hers is lucky to have her as their doctor. Cannot recommend enough.
My appointment began in time. The medical assistant was cordial and friendly, and accurately recorded my information. Dr. Ackerman is a joy. She always thinks “outside the box,” considering other organ systems that might cause or impact current dermatological problems. She performs thorough skin examination, answers all questions, and explains rationale for treatment. Her bedside manner is wonderful. She deserves 10 stars.

Great office, terrific, friendly, pleasant MA; wonderful MD that listens, explains, is gentle and caring!!! Practiced medicine the way it used to be!!! She is GREAT!
Dr. Ackerman listens to your concerns. She takes your health seriously and always makes sure you understand her diagnosis. Also, she makes sure there is a plan laid out for future visits.
