I went for my annual visit with Dr. Ackerman and mentioned my concern that my eyebrows have disappeared in clumps in the past few months. Her response was so empathetic and caring that it made me tear up. She discussed some possible causes and did a biopsy to determine for sure. I always appreciate her active listening and clear explanations of everything. I’ve recommended Dr. Ackerman to many and everyone has found her personable, thorough, and very knowledgeable.
Dr. Ackerman treats patients like they are the most important thing in her life. She is super friendly, higng.hly knowledgeable. She remembers you from the lat visit and takes a personal interest in your life and health. She is thorough. She explains things thoroughly and in layman's language. I was suffering from excessive flaring of exczema. Was on an injectable but it was not working. She shifted my medication and I was better in hours. Brilliant and caring. All of the staff is nice.
I hadn’t been in for a couple year, be Dr Ackerman took the time to address my concerns and noted new & old changes on my face. She took a specimen for a biopsy, which would concern me if it were anyone else, but I have complete trust in her, she’s always takes good care of me.
Dr. Ackerman is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and caring. I have her full attention when she is conducting my exam. Answers questions readily and I have every confidence that my examination was thorough and the treatment plan going forward will be comprensive and will completely address my issues. I have been seeing Dr. Ackerman for years. Each visit has been through and pleasant. She explains, in detail, what she sees and the treatment she will provide. She found and diagnosed my autoimmune disease when others could not! I would most definitely recommend! I love her and her entire staff.

Every visit with Dr. Ackerman is a five star visit. I’ve been seeing her for more than five years. Because she keeps up with the latest journals in her field, she was able to find the reason for my mystery rash, and my skin has been clear now since 2020. She seems to treat her staff as equals, and they all do their best for patients.
Dr Ackerman is not only extremely knowledgeable and thorough, but also compassionate. Her staff is very professional and friendly. I rate her a 5 plus.
