I'd been referred for a dermatology surgical procedure. When Dr. Ackerman reviewed my medical records and discussed my symptoms with me, she told me that she didn't believe the procedure was indicated. That had been my suspicion all along. Together we reviewed my options and decided to put it off until a time when my condition worsened and it would be indicated. I very much appreciated her honesty and her commitment to my good health.
Dr. Ackerman has been my dermatologist for 10 years. She is knowledgeable, thorough and truly cares about her patients. Her staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her.
Found a spot of concern on my back over the weekend and she saw me that week. Answered all my questions and provided great care!
Always feel that I am getting high quality of care with Dr Ackerman. Seen quickly at my appointment time and yet had plenty of time with the doctor to ask questions. Treated in a very professional manner by the front office and all of the medical staff. Dr Ackerman and the nurses put you at ease and take the time to answer any questions and explain what they are doing.
Dr. Akerman and staff are exceptional and always provide the care one would hope for.

The competency and efficiency of the staff is readily apparent. Each staff member knows their role well in treating the patient. Dr. Ackerman is incredibly thorough and efficient. She is knowlegable, thoughtful and considerate in her explanations as she proceeds through the examination. A good communicator that produces a great deal of confidence in the patient that good outcomes are managable and achievable.
