Rang today to make an appointment for a routine test & was spoken to by an unhelpful lady who told me that Lincolnshire are not doing face to face appointments at the moment as they haven't got the capacity! Very poor!
Rang twice and was on hold for 40 mins. A woman finally answered and I explained I’ve been bleeding for 40 days and the dr had recommended a coil but the nurse is on holiday so recommended I try Dixon street. The woman said they couldn’t help me because I needed a coil for menopause not contraception. I explained it was the same device. She said they wouldn’t be licensed to fit for menopause. I rang over a month in advance to make sure I got an appointment to change my birth control implant and when I rang them to ask where exactly it was on the day of the appointment, they said that it was 20 days later. I have proof that this was not the case but all they said is that I could cancel the appointment but there is nothing I could do. This isn't exceptable. Luckily for me, the day that they put it as is the last day it is effective but I would have issues if it wasn't. Please make sure you tell the people you help ... read more
