Lidl is getting better. Now they put self check out which makes it much faster. It is a big plus but they have their sweets and buns in open air. I found flies on the top of the doughnuts
Been coming here twice a week for over a year and spend about £65 - £80 weekly. Had an encounter with a jobsworth manager today, who at first I didnt realise was actually talking to me due due to not actually looking at me when talking. Clearly working in retail hasn't sharpened this persons people skills. Only did I realise he was following me did I realise he was asking me to make sure I pay for the bag i was carrying. The day we went Thursday afternoon it was relatively quiet and well stocked..We bought 2 x sirloin stks thinking the ticket price of £5.99 was the correct .. to find out when we checked receipt on returning home that the price was actually £11.38 ! It's seems their prices are at the top of the item NOT underneath which is what I'm use to seeing !
