I’d like to know who the store manager on duty was this evening at Lidl. I’ve just returned from my usual grocery shopping and was quite shocked by the way one of the managers was speaking to her team. She addressed a team member—Ellie, I believe—very loudly over her headset in front of customers, saying things like, “I’m your store manager, you have to tell me where you go,” in a patronising tone.
