Rejuvenate your skin – Lia Schoor's spa is quaint and peaceful with professional, courteous staff. I have been there several times for facial treatments. One of the technicians, ALLA, is a doll, very professional, gentle, informative with which ever your needs are. Alla gives you a skin regimen to follow up for day to day treatments. I have been to many NYC spas, and this one, HANDS DOWN, is amazing.

The Best Spa in NYC to Pamper Yourself – I am an addicted customer at Lia Schorr Day Spa. This midtown East spa is conviently located and a much needed respite from my high pressure job. I have alot of tension in my neck and shoulders and her hot stone massage always does the trick! I have been told that I look many years younger than my age. False advertising – The website for Lia Schorr advertises a 90 minute "Ultimate Pedicure", complete with a 30minute reflexology massage for $90. I called and made my appointment and when I got there, and they asked what service I was getting, they said they had never heard of the"Ultimate Pedicure". They claimed they did not offer such a service, so instead, I got a 30 minute, boring pedicure, no massage, the nail technician didn't even use clean utensils. I will never go back. Best Facials and home care products – I have been a client at Lia Schorr's for many years and have been very satisfied with the facial treatments. Eugenia is the best... very professional and caring. My skin has improved with the use of the products. My favorite products are the Equalizing Serum and the Skin Prep Cleanser.

Still stuck in the 1980s – So, I read all these reviews here claiming that Lia Schorr is the best because she's been around the business forever. Let me just tell you, it's not. First of all the front desk area is deceptive because that's the only nice room there. The rest of the place has peeling paint, ugly pink walls, no ventilation, tiny and crowded. I have been going to lia schorr for a while and they give the best facials ever. Eugenia is kind warm and truly cares about your skin. They have great prices and deals going on all the time.

Waste of my time – I booked a reservation here for a massage over spa week and was VERY dissappointed. Granted, it may have been busier than usual due to it being spa week, but that's no excuse for being treated like cattle. The staff was very hurried and hurrying with the clients, not appropriate for a spa environment. reviews ALL true. Be firm, great treatments, enjoy – Best spa for the right client. Here's the lowdown: C'mon... be a New Yorker, be firm and clear. It's like going to a bazaar -- you have to let Lia know that you are not okay with pushiness, service interruptions, or borderline bait and switch tactics. Nothing Is Perfect, This is just Nothing – New Spas are popping up everywhere with reputations of all sorts, and so I decided to go to an established place. However all I found was a dinosaur which had not yet gone extinct. Pushy sales focused proprietor, unrelaxing atmosphere, which was loud and cramped and had not been renovated since the stone age.
