I PRAISE AND RESPECT THE LIA SCHORR DAY SPA. – MY FIANCE AND I OWN A FAMOUS CLUB IN MANHATTAN, AND WE WORK 7 DAY WEEKS, 12 HOUR DAYS. Not Impressed at All – Went here with gift certificate for a facial and pedicure. First sign that this was not going to be a great experience was how my phone call was handled. Very curt and rude and they did not ask for a phone number or any information other than my first name to confirm an appointment - very unusual, especially for a supposedly busy spa. My plans changed the day of my appointment and they were able to fit me in serveral hours earlier. I though this was very nice of them until I showed up and realized why ... read more

what a joke – this woman is the rudest thing i ever encountered. i didn't even go for an appointment because of her attitude on the phone. the is two clients she lost, both my boyfriend and I found a better NICER place to spend Valentine's.

Not the spa for me! – Since moving to the area in 2004, I have been on a search for a great spa. I got a great package deal at Lia Schorr ($180 for a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure and brow or bikini wax), plus 20% off when I bought it (as a gift certificate last year). Definitely can not complain about the prices. HOWEVER, the spa itself leaves a lot to be desire. It seems like the last time it was updated when in the early 90's.
