I got myself locked out and walked over to the office to see if they would let me in. A man showed up immediately and walked me back to my house. Very helpful and for no charge, he also noticed a damp wall and we soon got a call that the maintenance man would be in the next day.
Lexadon were swift to respond and easy to get in touch with. I enjoyed living in their property for 3 years.
By far the worst in London. Had huge holes in the wall that didn’t get covered for months after we moved in despite it being written in the contract. Main bedroom had leaks and didn’t get fixed for months. Had to send nearly 300 emails complaining until the owner finally had a meeting with us. Could list multiple problems that weren’t addressed - other tenants in the building had the same issue. Would avoid any property if saw it was rented by lexadon. The majority of landlords/letting agents aren’t great, but Lexadon are by far the worst. The interaction from the beginning of our tenancy through to the end has been incredibly poor, starting with rude passive aggressive emails from Cameron. When I emailed to ask what furniture we would have (which I couldn’t entirely remember as I had done about 10 viewings in the space of 2 days like most people in London do), his response was ‘this should have been explained on your viewing but here are photos which should help rejog you... read more
If I could give them zero stars, I would. We moved into one of their properties in October, and from day one, it had BLACK MOULD in the bathrooms—despite being promised that it would be removed before we moved in. This was just one of several issues they assured us would be fixed, including broken blinds that leave our flat completely exposed to a very public street, where people on buses have been peeping inside.
