I have been seeing a periodontist for several years for "deep" cleanings and several other procedures due to my gum issues. I needed to visit a regular dentist to check for a possible cracked filling and obtain recommendations on what could be done for some pretty severe erosions in my bottom teeth. I thoroughly enjoy going to Dr. Dillard for my dnetal needs b/c everytime I go I experience no pain!!! At many of the dentists I've had in the past I usually would have to take two Tylenol before a simple cleaning. I don't have to w/ Dr. Dillard. Cleanings are done effectively and the hygenists and doctor always give me tips on improving my dental health. This last time around I had to have fillings. I was new to the Nashville area and found Dr. Dillard. I needed a root canal and crown. Dr. Dillard sent me to an endodontist for the root canal and I went back to her for the crown. She got the crown stuck before it was permanently cemented and decided to leave it like that for several weeks. I went back to her for a followup and she got the crown off, but bacteria had gotten under the crown. When she took it off, there was a horrible smell and taste in my mouth. Dr. Dilliard has been my dentist for over 7 years and I trust her and her staff completely. Fortunately I've not needed crowns or bridges in that period, but she has had the caution to have me referred to an oral surgeon for a suspicious growth in my mouth and has handled the referral and followup for a root canal that I needed. Her facility is both state-of-the-art and spotlessly clean. I would recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Dillard is extremely professional. She and her staff always ensure that each patient is fully aware of their individual treatment plans and options. I have had several procedures done by Dr. Dillard, and I have no complaints. I have some anxiety concerning dental work, but Dr. Dillard made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout my appointments. I have, and I will continue to recommend Dr. Dillard to others.
This is a follow-up to my previous review... she got rid of the charges (for the MI paste) and was very nice about it, even inviting me to come back while my insurance was still active. The best thing about her is that she is very empathic/relatable. I told her how as a college student, I couldn't afford many of the services and she offered cheaper alternatives (which is incredibly helpful since I am in need of some dental care right now). I relocated to the Nashville area and found Dr. Dillard thru a search on the internet. My first appointment went great. Dr Dillard's office uses digital x-rays, that is great. No radiation. All the staff was very courteous and my appointment was on time, no extended waiting time. Her exam was thorough and she is very personable. I would recommend her if you are looking for a new dentist. Cost was average. I had full mouth x-rays and a cleaning. All costs were covered by my dental insurance.
Dr. Dillard was recommended to me by an aquaintance. All the time I have been coming to her and her staff they have always been professional and nice. I got a second opinion regarding one of her early decisions and after it checked out, I never questioned her recommendations again. She and her staff are super and attentive to my dental needs and meet my expectations every time.
I was so embarrassed to make the first visit, because I had not been seen by a dentist in quite a while. Instead of having teeth repaired in the past, I went for the "quick fix" and had them pulled. Approximately ten years ago, I had partial dentures made to fill in the gaps~but they never fit right and I would have to take them out to eat.
