A favorite local stop since 1952, this bakery, less than a mile outside Waikiki, is famous for its malasadas. These pastries are a local favorite, similar to doughnuts only without the holes. They're best eaten hot, leaden when cold. Another specialty is pao doce (Portuguese sweet bread). Danish pastries, cookies, breads and specialty wedding and birthday cakes are also available. This is take out only; there is no place to sit. Parking is available.

Malasdas!! I love them. I'm bless that I get to walk a few blocks to eat them when ever I want! But, I think they should package some so visitors can take some home. ���

It was okay, we like the sweeter pasties but had to try these while we were on the island. Location wasn't very clean.
Fresh, hot, made-to-order, malasadas.... original, cinnamon sugar, or Li Hing - filled or not. These are sinful! It's a must to stop here and get some. This is not "just a donut", this is epically delicious and perfectly executed. Flavor and texture on-point.

We went after dinner about 8pm. There was no line. Parking was easy Fresh,hot and delicious. Great customer service.
Amazing malasadas!!! These doughnuts were so good and warm and delicious! The original was our favorite but they were all excellent. We went in the beginning of our trip and again on the last day. We will definitely be coming back.
Fell in love with there malasadas. They are best when warm and you will make a mess!
