A favorite local stop since 1952, this bakery, less than a mile outside Waikiki, is famous for its malasadas. These pastries are a local favorite, similar to doughnuts only without the holes. They're best eaten hot, leaden when cold. Another specialty is pao doce (Portuguese sweet bread). Danish pastries, cookies, breads and specialty wedding and birthday cakes are also available. This is take out only; there is no place to sit. Parking is available.

Yummy!! At first we were a little turned off by the long line but it went faster than we thought. You must visit Leonard’s if your near, very delicious and friendly
After walking for miles we walked in and thought we must hv been mistaken...the cabinets were half empty BUT THEN we saw the Order Malasada sign!! OMG they are divine and worth the long walk!!! Every doughnut I eat from now will be compared to Leonard's!!!!
Fantastic baked goods. It has to be on the top of your must experience places to eat.
The best Malasadas. Worth the trip! Would always recommend this place. Even though there was a line, service was fast and efficient.
Leonard’s is like no other. Make sure your stomach is empty when you go, because it will be stuffed when you leave. Malasadas just out of the fryer, cooked to order and pao doce wraps!
結局、巡り巡ってここに辿り着く。生きるマラサダ伝説。 アツアツを店前のベンチで食べて、1日の予定を考えるのが、楽しみだったりする。
Absolutely the Best!! Not sure if they're actually legal!! Lol... Light, fluffy, delicious pillows of pure delight!!
Great malasadas and other baked goods.. Best when warm and holds up pretty well traveling to the mainland. Just make sure you have time to cool them down before you close up the box. The steam will melt the sugar. Don't fret if the lines are long, they are quick serving their customers.
Although the malasadas were freshly cooked they were more bread-like than I like. I prefer the zesty, slightly lemony taste of the Punahou malasadas. Of the dozen I bought, I fed ten to the dogs (who give them five stars).
Leonard's Bakery has a 4.6 star rating with 10,840 reviews.
Leonard's Bakery is open now. It will close at 7:00 p.m.
