A favorite local stop since 1952, this bakery, less than a mile outside Waikiki, is famous for its malasadas. These pastries are a local favorite, similar to doughnuts only without the holes. They're best eaten hot, leaden when cold. Another specialty is pao doce (Portuguese sweet bread). Danish pastries, cookies, breads and specialty wedding and birthday cakes are also available. This is take out only; there is no place to sit. Parking is available.

It's amazingly delicious! ⭐️ Have had malasadas from various places around the islands and Leonard's has it down pat. Don't eat a lot but when you gotta eat, dis da place.
You can't come to Waikiki and not come here!!! The BEST!!!
Once you get over the parking situation, and the usually long line. The malasadas are excellent! Served hot and even after a day, I still prefer them over a newly cooked donut.
Well worth the wait!! Ate all but two of them in the car. Just finished the leftovers the very next day. It's a must visit!
Delicious! I definitely want to go back before I leave!
First time trying Leonard's & the intoxicating aroma thrilled my senses long before we arrived at the bakery. After purchasing the hot & fresh malasadas in a variety of flavors, filled & original, we were transported to another realm by their warm, heavenly goodness! Don't leave Hawaii without treating yourself to their sweet drops of doughy goodness! ❤️❤️
When You pull up and see the line of people, GET IN THE LINE.
Just an amazing place. Excellent service and made while we wait. Nice, hot and delicious.
Been coming here for years!! It's amazing and a must visit when on Oahu. I get the cinnamon malasadas and you can't go wrong!! Parking is tight so park across the street at the Safeway market shopping center and walking half a block will save you the headache. I visit every day I'm in Honolulu!!
