A favorite local stop since 1952, this bakery, less than a mile outside Waikiki, is famous for its malasadas. These pastries are a local favorite, similar to doughnuts only without the holes. They're best eaten hot, leaden when cold. Another specialty is pao doce (Portuguese sweet bread). Danish pastries, cookies, breads and specialty wedding and birthday cakes are also available. This is take out only; there is no place to sit. Parking is available.

I had my first custard malasada last week and all I can say is OMG I'm completely hooked! The texture and filling is soooo amazing. I was blown away and impressed! I wanted to take a box of them home, but sadly I didn't have time to stop at the bakery on my way to the airport. I plan on ordering some online though! Don't miss out on their malasadas!
Awesome 1st thing in the morning all the way from the Westside. Shared this Awesome spot with a guest from Virginia. We got one dozen of the original and every filled malasadas. Worth the drive for that awesome malasadas. And we shared some with our tour guide at Kanile'a Ukulele oh his was a happy camper
Malasadas are to die for! We didn’t know for sure what they were but decided to try them, delicious 😋 We’ve already been there twice.
A definite must!!!! The best dessert I’ve had while in Hawaii
On my honeymoon after breakfast this morning we walked over here after the Uber driver on the way to breakfast said it was a MUST! He definitely wasn't wrong. My husband is obsessed and I'm okay with that. Glad we don't have these in Dallas, TX or we'd both put on some serious pounds. Can't lie we made 2 trips here today.
First time there. Service and food was amazing. Next time I’m buying a shirt 😎
Came all the way from Kansas to try a malasada! I was not disappointed!
Delish!!!! Will come back every time we are in hawaiii
First time to Honolulu and was told to try this place. I got the original and cinnamon malasadas and they were to die for!!! I am going to miss these so badly! They were warm and the perfect sweetness and texture. Must try!!!!!
