A favorite local stop since 1952, this bakery, less than a mile outside Waikiki, is famous for its malasadas. These pastries are a local favorite, similar to doughnuts only without the holes. They're best eaten hot, leaden when cold. Another specialty is pao doce (Portuguese sweet bread). Danish pastries, cookies, breads and specialty wedding and birthday cakes are also available. This is take out only; there is no place to sit. Parking is available.

It was meh. If I go back it will be for the macaroons not the malasadas

Hands-down the best malasadas in town. They come in various flavors and optional filling... but the best has got to be the original unfilled. The donut comes warmed and the dough is so moist and fluffy. Tip: when you order, take a bite right away! Texture isn't as phenomenal when at room temperature. (but still great!) The guava muffin I got was so-so. Would not get it next time.
Malasada are the best here nice and hot and always fresh , plus all the other great pastry’s always a line out the door ....🤙🏾
Heaven on earth 🌏 I have to say, I’m not sure what my life will be without having one. They’re amazingly delicious 🤤 nothing I’ve had so far compared to the taste and texture. My new favorite pastry 😘
Excellent Malasada!
Malasadas!!! The best! However there is not and area for you to sit down and eat or drink your coffee.
