I purchased a property at auction which Leonard's were the agents for. From the outset, it was quite clear that the auctioneer had favourites in the room, making comments to one individual by name: "do you want this one *NAME*?" during the bidding process. Presumably this was a regular purchaser at their events. This did not come across as impartial or professional in the slightest.
