My roommate and I adopted our 3rd cat this summer and we got her from LCHS as a kitten. Fera(now Leia) is the light of our lives! They couldn't have been any better with the adoption process. Fantastic rescue program! Caring people who worked with me to make sure my first time adopting went smoothly. I love my little LCHS rescue dog.

They are not professional and wasted my time by making me think i was going to get a dog that was being held. This dog was returned because the family didn't want her. Then they decided out of nowhere they wanted to take responsibility again. 20 people applied once she was avaliable again and the foster parents called around but still held the dog for them. I will never go to that place again! If you're not married, with children, and a white pickets fence, you're not getting a dog. Good luck!

Many years ago my family and I were extremely fortunate enough to be allowed to have a rescue dog we called Rascal into our lives.
