I just moved to Tallahassee and found my forever friend at LCHS! I adopted little Ozzy (formerly Rascal) and couldn’t be happier with my experience. Everyone at the Humane Society was kind, welcoming, and so very helpful. They were wonderful to work with and have such an incredible passion for their animals. Ozzy’s foster has been an invaluable resource both during and after adoption, and everyone at LCHS has been so warm and caring. I couldn’t recommend LCHS enough. They’re amazing!
I foster for LCHS and I can’t say enough amazing things about it. The building is clean and a great and safe place for dogs and cats to start their new and better lives. The people are so amazing and kind and give all of their effort, time, and love to help these animals find the perfect forever families. I would recommend that everyone either volunteer, foster, or donate to this phenomenal organization!
I live in Wakulla county and somehow these people took my greyhound and are refusing to give her back. My dog is chiped and stays in my yard. I also gave them the phone number for my vet as proof and they still won't give her back. I thought the responsibility of these places was to find animals homes not to steal someone's dog. I"m contacting law enforcement and seeking legal advice about what actions i can take to rectify this situation. So my recommendation is Do NOT adopt animals from this place because you don't know wh... read more
Compassion, very clean place and honesty!
Thank you for you hard work!
Amazing group of rescuers!
I had no idea these organizations would help so much! We had spent so much money on houses and "quick fixes" for our 4 pits living outdoors only for them to chew and destroy every bit of it. Someone saw the situation and made a call to these kind people and in less than a week we had 4 houses delivered to us! My babies are so happy now!! Thanks again you guys! You're amazing!
so we were looking into adopting a cat yesterday or a kitten i was trying to interact with the cat to see if it was a good fit for me and the lady or manager barged in like i was hurting the animal or something telling me to put the cat down and don't pick it up so i hope the cats get adopted so it can still remain exactly where it is in a shelter because they most DEFINITELY not get my 100$ i will happily drive 38 minutes to Jefferson county
