Doctors had Horrible bedside"manners"...I used quotation marks because manners didn't exist! While there they had me, a man with chronic pain in a bed and in my own room, while at the same time, a lady with major contusions to get head and face in a Hall suturing her with patients and doctors walking by. It wasn't busy by the way. There were empty beds, not cleaned, nurses and CNAs joking about dirty the rooms that were empty, needing to be cleaned! My son was transferred there Saturday with a swollen jaw. First night was great nursing was good. But the doctor Sunday says oh its not an emergency surgery because the swollen jaw is getting better. Of course the stupid ass he's been on antibiotics around the clock with morphine. Also from the other hospital with the same treatment. Discharged with antibiotics nothing for pain. Only good thing about this hospital is the nurse's!!
Your ER needs big improvements from the receptionist to the triage to the backed up toliet and no toliet paper in the filthy bathroom And there are no bed pillows in an ER room
I was transferred to Lehigh Valley hospital from another, smaller hospital. I was admitted to the cardiac unit and from the minute I got there, I knew I was in the right place. The nurses treated me with such kindness and dignity and respect. I had to have surgery and was very scared but between the nurses and doctors all if my fears subsided. Dad was here over Easter. Been discharged ,He was here also this weekend discharge yesterday Tuesday for internal bleeding made him sit both weekends. Now he might have an infection in his arm from the IV. Sitting in the waiting room for hours. And they just don't see the picture that they're the ones that are slacking here. And if this is another infection it's the second one from his hospital. When you have an internal bleed you don't do the test to three days later to find out what the problem is by then it stops bleeding
5 hours in the waiting room of the ER and have yet to be seen, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Far from a top hospital in the country.
Have had nothing but good, mannerly and courteous staff working on my daughter who suffered an aneurysm and had to go back to ER...God Bless the Medical field.
The nurses are always amazing. I had my baby here and multiple hospital stays for other things. I brought my mom in from to NY just because their care is so good.
