My husband had surgery on 4/25 for an aortic dissection. We are so grateful to Dr. Mehta and his team who did this life saving procedure. Also to the excellent nurses of the OHU and the TOHU, I wanted to nominate every one of you for the Daisy Award ! We are so thankful for you all, Matt, Meggie,Nancy,Corrally in OHU. Also, Megan, Jess, Allyson and Sharin in TOHU. Thank you for your excellent care, patience and compassion. Happy Nurses' Week !

Having lived in this area for a long time, I have many memories of visits there, not all good. However, I do have to commend the ER staff, on 4/24, I took my husband there in a great deal of pain. He was promptly evaluated and lifeflighted to Lehigh Vally Cedar Crest for emergency surgery for an aortic dissection. I don't remember their names, but thank you to the doctor and staff for diagnosing the problem fast, and taking appropiate measures to get him where he needed to be in time to save his life.

Being told at 9:30 AM that patient will be discharged by Noon Friday (since he wasn't discharged Thurs because the Dr wants 1 more blood test in the morning), me waiting from 10:00AM until 5:00PM !!, not seeing a Dr all day (even tho we were told the Dr is on his way from the other building), excuses all day always blaming someone else (waiting for the coumadin center to return my pages, waiting for his cardiologist to return my call) Donna from "Communications" saying she will print that info out for me so I can read it whi... read more
